Looking back and moving forward. And saying a weird ‘thank you’ to COVID 19.

Originally, I planned to write a post about my year which included things like the books I read, the recipes I tried, the people I met, etc. And it was going to be COVID free, in that, I just hadn’t planned to include anything about the disease, because I didn’t feel I had been directly affected.

I don’t work in health care anymore, no one in my family has a lost a job (yet!), I didn’t know anyone who died from it, despite my mother getting COVID and becoming very sick, but she is fine now or at…
